Recently we started our program on Career Leadership – an expansion of our intersectional career counseling that we have been carrying out with NT-DNT, Adivasi, Bahujan youth since many years.
This event was with young women and young men of Bahujan backgrounds living in different parts of Badlapur. We thank the organizers – women leaders of Kalyan, Badlapur and Thane regions of Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi for facilitating this interaction.
This Career Leadership module goes beyond only giving technical knowledge of different fields ; it sees career as a right that is part of our fundamental and Constitutional rights of life, dignity, expression, participation, contribution and development. The module connects individual development very closely with progressive socio-political development.
