Anubhuti’s outreach continues to expand in depth and scope. The ongoing interventions in Ashram Schools are helping build meaningful pathways to understand and support Adivasi students learning in remote, hilly villages.
At the Karnabadhir Vikas Vidyalaya in Kinhavli village, Anubhuti had the opportunity to hold an extended dialogue on growing up and mental health with a group of hearing- and speech-impaired students.
Despite their communication barriers, the students showed remarkable focus, curiosity, and determination to understand and engage with complex subjects. The workshop created a shared space for expression, empathy, and awareness where students could explore their emotional and social well-being in a safe environment.
The collaboration with the school’s teachers and principal did not stop with this workshop alone. It has sparked the imagination for a long-term, multi-dimensional program to continue working on emotional literacy, mental health, and holistic development for students in Ashram Schools across the region.
Through such collective efforts, Anubhuti continues to strengthen its commitment to justice-based mental health education reaching even the most remote and underrepresented learners with care, understanding, and inclusion.
