We are proud and honored that our director Deepa Pawar has been awarded the first ‘Samyak Puraskar’ – for her work on Gender justice, SRHR and rights with NT-DNT, Bahujan youth and women – as a NT young woman leader herself. As the citation says, “this is to find options to hierarchical and unequal systems”.
We thank “Samyak Sanvad and Resource Center” for recognizing her work of over 23 years. It feels especially great when such Constitutional, grassroots focused platforms recognize the work.
