A full-day workshop with young women from the Katkari and Thakar communities who are studying confidently in schools and colleges — focused on leadership and factbased_values. organised by Anubhuti Trust

It is important for young Adivasi women, who are connected to labour, production, and environmental values, to come together. The workshop aims to create a collective space for dialogue and reflection throughout the day, where we can understand what the facts say about our communities and realities, and how these directly impact our careers, development, and very existence.

Our economic and cultural lives have always remained deeply connected with nature. Whenever nature is harmed, Adivasi communities are among the first to suffer its consequences. Therefore, while stepping into leadership at the level of career, community, and family, it becomes essential to look at fact-based values with awareness and clarity.

Young women must learn to engage with data without fear — to handle it, read it, and understand it critically. Strengthening spaces for collective learning is therefore necessary for these daughters of the mountains.
