With the support of advocates and Bar Council officials at the Sub-District Additional Sessions Court, Civil and Criminal Court, Kalyan, Anubhuti facilitated an important discussion on #MentalJustice.

The session emphasized that mental justice is not an individual-centric concept, but begins from the self and extends as a collective care practice. This care is rooted in rights-based engagement, where legal stakeholders, particularly advocates, play a key role in fostering understanding and creating a foundation for justice.

The workshop highlighted how a journey that begins with one’s own mental balance can guide interactions with clients, influence systemic processes, and shape the broader structures surrounding legal practice. Participants explored the responsibilities of advocates in integrating mental health awareness and justice into their professional and societal roles.

The session was remarkable not only for its engaged participation and positive response, but also for demonstrating how the movement for mental justice flows like a river, merging into the larger ocean of social justice. With the active support of lawyers and Bar Council members at Kalyan Court, the workshop successfully bridged legal practice, mental health, and collective care.
