Adivasi children and youth are incredibly expressive, insightful, and rich in knowledge shaped by their lived experiences, cultural traditions, and deep connection with their communities and environment. Yet, mainstream society often fails to recognize or fully understand their perspectives, voices, and ways of knowing.

Creating spaces where these young people can confidently share their thoughts, experiences, and aspirations is essential. Through our Summer Camp workshops, Adivasi youth are learning the skills of public speaking, critical thinking, storytelling, and collective dialogue. These sessions encourage them to speak with confidence, articulate their ideas, and engage with social issues that affect their lives and communities.

More importantly, these workshops are helping young people realize that their voices matter. Their stories, knowledge, and viewpoints deserve to be heard—not only within their communities, but also in wider public spaces where decisions about their futures are often made without their participation.

This is part of an ongoing series of workshops under our Summer Camps initiative, where learning, self-expression, leadership, and cultural pride come together to nurture the next generation of confident Adivasi youth leaders.
