At Badlapur, Dubey_Hospital, in the presence of healthofficers and staff, Anubhuti Trust conducted an intensive, dialogue-based workshop on two important themes — building an understanding of mentalhealth and ensuring safety at the workplace. Despite their extremely busy schedules, the appreciation, presence, and active participation shown by all the health colleagues during the training was truly overwhelming. Without bringing in any sense of hierarchy, position, or status, everyone came down to a common ground to learn about MentalHealth and SafeWorkplaces. Their commitment to gaining knowledge in these areas felt deeply genuine and reassuring. Through questions, curiosity, and active engagement, we were able to carry forward both these complex and layered subjects in a simple and accessible manner. Senior officials also expressed the need for further capacity-building initiatives in this context and opened up some meaningful possibilities going forward. Work plants the seeds for more work — creation continues to evolve naturally. On such platforms, concerns of Nomadic, Denotified, and Adivasi communities can also be meaningfully raised. In a vast sector like healthcare, communities standing at the margins continue to struggle. These spaces allow us to directly unpack those realities, draw attention to them, and gradually redirect services and facilities — even if in small measures — towards the most excluded.
