On the occasion of the Joint Jayanti, we aim to take forward the vision, models, and direction of Babasaheb, Krantijyoti Mahatma Phule, and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj to the youth in a structured and meaningful way. While we work on this throughout the year, the energy and enthusiasm of April are truly unmatched. We are further strengthening the process of building ideological successors. This year’s cohort is ready—eager to learn and grow through the leadership journey in the Guts Fellowship. Through a two-day residential camp, the group was introduced to the Constitution, gender justice, and legal frameworks. We conducted in-depth discussions on workplace safety laws, including their definitions, provisions, processes, and the challenges involved. We also reflected on our roles and responsibilities as individuals and as a society. Instead of relying on one-way lectures, we used engaging and participatory methods such as group work, presentations, and street plays. This ensured a deeper and more meaningful learning experience. Discussions naturally extended to themes such as the nature of workplaces, capitalist tendencies, caste structures, labor culture, and patriarchy. To celebrate the Jayanti in a thoughtful and ideologically rich manner, we have planned at least 10 major programs during this month. We will need your support and cooperation.
