The entire Anubhuti team and our Youth Cultural Group – Badlache Parv Kala Manch, were privileged to be a part of the Mahaparinirvan Diwas (Death Anniversary) of Dr. Ambedkar that is marked every year over two days – 5 & 6 December at Shivaji Park, Dadar – alongwith thousands of his followers who come here from all over the country.
We have been going to this location every year since 2018, to carry out Constitutional and Social Justice awareness and literacy. This year too, the Anubhuti mentored Badlache Parv Kala Manch – which is a cultural group with youth and adolescents from diverse communities, performed through the night and day of 5 and 6 December.
Through songs and speeches, we tried to reach out to the followers who were gathered on the ground. The best moments were when the youth and women on the ground impromptu joined in the singing – and some took the stage too with beautiful songs which we were privileged hear.
