Taking ahead the work started with NT-DNT communities during the lockdown, Anubhuti launched Disaster Management trainings with them as a sustainable response to the issues seen in these communities. This is a direct follow-up of the leadership within these communities – they have kept themselves alive not just in this pandemic but against all calamities surmounting various challenges and with hardly any support from outside.
This project was launched with leaders and community members of 5 communities in Thane District. Anubhuti being a rights based organisation, it doesn’t believe in just providing services, rather works for capacity building and community’s intellectual development. This is the first ever initiative towards intellectual revolution among the NT-DNT communities. We thank CII Foundation and CLP India for supporting part of this project.
